Shubham Das
Engineer turned MBA — I build products, and now I'm learning how they reach customers and create value.
Co-founder of XparkAI, a hyperlocal healthcare logistics platform. I bring a builder's understanding of technology to product strategy, customer discovery and go-to-market.
See my flagship productXparkAI
A hyperlocal healthcare logistics platform for Tier-2 cities — connecting patients with nearby pharmacies, blood units and hospital beds in real time, starting in Bhubaneswar.
What I owned
- Product strategy. Co-led the strategy for a scalable Tier-2 healthcare ecosystem — specifying and prioritising features across a patient app and a pharmacy-partner app.
- Core mechanic. A prescription is broadcast to pharmacies within a 3 km geofence for 10 minutes, and nearby partners bid to fulfil it — turning a phone-around search into a single request.
- Trust by design. Chose a hybrid architecture that keeps user data separate from location data, with compliance guardrails around the AI assistant to manage risk.
- Business case. Built the pitch ecosystem — deck, Business Model Canvas, financials and pitch script.
How it's built
A dual-app Flutter platform on a hybrid Firebase Firestore + Supabase PostgreSQL backend, with Haversine-based proximity matching and a three-layer AI assistant powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash. Built as a six-member team at KIIT under the guidance of Dr. Mainak Biswas, with an accompanying research paper for IEEE Access.

Industry Training
Student Trainee
Intel Corporation · Unnati Industrial Training Program 2024
May 2024 – July 2024
- Selected on CGPA for Intel's Unnati programme to solve a structured-dataset analytics problem in Knowledge Representation and Insights Generation.
- Cleaned and structured a large-scale demographic dataset (Adult Income), resolving data-quality issues so the analysis could be trusted.
- Evaluated multiple ML models for income classification, reaching 83% predictive accuracy with the selected pipeline.
AWS Academy Graduate
Amazon Web Services · Cloud Foundations + Cloud Architecting
October 2024 – December 2024
80 hours across AWS core services, security, pricing and scalable, secure architecture design — the grounding behind the infrastructure decisions on XparkAI.
Vocational Trainee
BSNL · Regional Telecom Training Centre, Bhubaneswar
July 2025 – August 2025
Training in advanced telecom and IT.
Projects
From product strategy to working hardware — the problems I've worked on, and what I did about them.
STC Mobile — The Sovereign Digital Ecosystem
A product-market-fit strategy for an STC-branded smartphone in Saudi Arabia.
Rather than competing on hardware specs, I positioned the device as Saudi Arabia's digital-identity phone — integrated by default with mystc and stc pay so communications, payments and entertainment live in one place. The framework covers product purpose, customer needs, feature prioritisation, competitive positioning and performance metrics.
- Customer needs: functional and emotional jobs-to-be-done, mapped to everyday usage situations — payments, streaming, gaming, work, family plans.
- Prioritisation: must / should / could-have features, led by deep ecosystem integration, a 5G optimisation profile and native BNPL financing.
- The moat: structural integration with STC's network and financial rails, which generic handsets can't replicate.
EchoSync — Assistive Device for Alzheimer's
A wearable that listens to everyday conversation, picks out the tasks a patient needs to remember and turns them into reminders on a companion app. On-device speech-to-text (Vosk on an ESP32) keeps latency low; Llama 3.3 on Groq extracts the tasks. Built under the guidance of Dr. Vishal Meena.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Detection
A screening model that benchmarks multiple algorithms and selects the best performer, with tuned parameters and feature scaling for higher accuracy.
Adult Income Classification
Data cleaning, exploratory analysis and model comparison on a large demographic dataset to predict income bands — reaching 83% accuracy with the selected model.
